WordPress website development
WordPress website development — from an idea to a working website
Your website should explain what your business does, work smoothly on every device and be easy to update. I help you get from a first thought to a clear structure, web design, WordPress development and launch — I design and build the site myself. I explain each stage in plain terms, and we agree on the scope before we start.
Web design • WordPress • A clear work process
You write directly to the designer — no middlemen.
Well-planned structure
Pages, menu and order of information before the design.
Mobile-friendly solution
Views for desktop, tablet and phone.
Easy content management
You can edit everyday content in WordPress yourself.
Clear cooperation
We agree on the scope before we start.
WordPress website development
What does building a website include?
We agree on the scope in advance, so you know what you’ll get and in what form.
01. Getting to know you and planning
We discuss your business goals, target audience, desired result and the features you need. We define what the website has to do for its visitors.
02. Structure and content plan
We plan the pages, menu and order of information and draw up a list of the texts and images needed. Copywriting and sourcing images are agreed separately if needed.
03. Web design
We create a visual direction based on your style, colours, typefaces and imagery. Key views are approved before the website is built.
04. WordPress development
We build the agreed pages in WordPress, using Elementor or Elementor Pro where needed. We add the forms, galleries, reusable blocks and other features specified in the quote.
05. Mobile-friendly design
We adapt the views for desktop, tablet and phone and check text readability, button size and navigation.
06. Basic technical SEO setup
We can tidy up page addresses, titles, metadata, navigation and indexing settings within the agreed scope. It is a good basis for further SEO work, but not a promise of a specific Google ranking.
07. Testing and launch
We check links, forms, key actions and the approved content. After your approval we publish the website on the chosen domain and hosting.
08. Handover and guidance
We hand over the agreed access and show you how to change everyday content, texts and images. The form of guidance is set out in the quote.
Business website
Services, strengths, completed work, contact details and enquiry forms in one clear whole.
Landing page
A page focused on one service, product or campaign that leads the visitor to a specific action.
Portfolio website
Present projects, photos and descriptions of your work, and add new examples later.
Multilingual website
If needed, we plan Estonian, Russian and English versions. The number of languages, translation and the technical solution are agreed separately.
WordPress website development
What kind of website do you need?
For an online shop, bookings or custom solutions, we review the task separately and choose a suitable approach.
Work process
How does the cooperation work step by step?
01
Enquiry
Describe your business, the purpose of the website and examples you like. You don’t need a finished technical brief for the first conversation.
02
Mapping your needs
We clarify the target audience, number of pages, languages, content, features, deadline and the state of your current website.
03
Quote
You get an overview of the work, price, schedule, deliverables, approvals, revision rounds and what is not included. We start once the terms are confirmed.
04
Gathering materials
We collect the logo, texts, photos, contacts and other details. We only ask for access when it is actually needed.
05
Structure and design
We show the page plan and the main design views. Agreed changes are made before full development.
06
Building the website
We create the pages in WordPress, add content and the required features, and design the views for different screen sizes. If the workflow allows, you can review the result in a test environment.
07
Review and approval
We review texts, images, buttons, forms, links and the mobile view. We fix shortcomings within the agreed scope.
08
Launch and handover
After final approval the website goes live. You receive the necessary access and explanations for editing content. Further support can be agreed separately.
Materials
What do we need from you?
- A short description of your business, services and target audience.
- The goal: enquiries, calls, bookings, presenting the company or a portfolio.
- Service descriptions, pricing information and correct contact details.
- Your existing logo and brand materials, if you have them.
- Texts and photos, and the right to use them.
- Examples of websites you like or dislike.
- Domain, hosting and old website details, if any.
- A contact person who can give feedback and approve decisions.
Not all materials ready yet? We can start with a conversation, list what is missing and agree who will prepare it.
Price and schedule
What do the price and schedule depend on?
The price depends on the agreed scope
The price is affected by the number of pages and custom features, design complexity, readiness of content, language versions, integrations and migrating an existing website. The schedule also depends on when materials and feedback arrive.
Possible separate costs
domain, hosting, paid plugins and licences (including Elementor Pro), stock photos, translations, copywriting, external services and later maintenance. The quote states what is included in the price and what is not.
Planning an online store?
Fill in a questionnaire about your products, payments, delivery and required features — I will prepare a price proposal based on your answers.
After launch
What happens after the website is launched?
WordPress needs regular updates, backups and security checks. You can edit everyday content yourself; technical maintenance you can handle yourself or order separately. Before handover it makes sense to agree on access, licences and further support.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Yes. WordPress lets you edit everyday content on your own. We clarify which parts you can manage without a designer’s help.
Both are possible. The right choice depends on your goals, budget and how distinctive you want to be. We explain the differences before we start.
No. Web design creates the structure and the visual views; WordPress development turns them into a working website. Both can be part of one project.
Not for the first conversation. Before the work begins we agree who prepares the texts, photos and translations and when they will be ready.
As part of development we create views adapted for mobile and check key actions on the agreed screen sizes.
The quote may include a basic technical SEO setup. Keyword research, writing SEO texts and ongoing optimisation are separate work unless agreed otherwise.
Yes, we can plan an Estonian, Russian and English website. Translations, content and language-specific settings are priced according to the project scope.
The timeline depends on the number of pages, the design, features and how ready the materials are. After our conversation you will get a realistic schedule.
We recommend registering the domain and hosting in the client’s name, for example the company’s, so that access and the management of services stay under the client’s control. We can help with the setup by agreement; recurring service fees are usually paid by the website owner.
Approvals and the number of revision rounds are fixed in the quote. Fixing technical errors and adding new features are different things.
We can agree to add the necessary pages and technical elements. The business owner is responsible for the content and compliance of legal texts, with the help of a legal adviser if needed.
